I’ve gotten some calls and emails asking if I was booking into fall. The answer is YES! Luckily, the Central Pennsylvania area is full of bright colored leaves during the fall season, a perfect backdrop for a session. Don’t wait to book your session since there are only a few weeks the leaves are on the trees before they fall to the ground. Dates will likely go fast, get yours now!
Our vacation was very nice, thanks to all who asked. I think I’m finally caught up from the week off and am now moving onto tons of new things that I hope to reveal here within the next few weeks. Keep checking back for the latest!

The very talented photographer Jessica Price tagged me for this challenge. The object is to share 5 Interesting Things About Me. Honestly, I really had to think hard about this because interesting can take on so many different meanings.
So, here you have it and maybe you’ll learn a few things about me. Oh yes, these are in no particular order just random thoughts that came to my mind.
1. I’m the queen at procrastination and its a trait that I very much dislike in myself.
2. I don’t like swimming in creeks, streams, rivers, or oceans. Dirty water just creeps me out.
3. One of my favorite summer activities is going to the drive in. If you aren’t fortunate enough to have one near you, I feel bad for you seriously. Its such a fun experience for our family and something I hope my children pass onto theirs someday.
4. I’d be lost without my husband. I know that sounds somewhat silly but besides him being my one true love, biggest supporter and best friend he’s got many other traits I couldn’t live without. He’s very handy around the house, I am not. He’s also a computer and technical guru, which I am not.
5. Like many others, chocolate is my weakness. I splurge on it often but when I do, I enjoy.
I’m tagging the following bloggers who inspire me.
Pinkletoes , Classy Kids Photography, Momento Images, La Maison Rustique, and Heather Woodward Photography.

A recent session that was held with models. I probably had a better time than they did since I didn’t have to worry about various creatures living in the water.

This past Saturday I was a second shooter for this wedding. Being this was my first wedding, I wasn’t sure what to expect but I had a great time! Too bad I’ve been suffering from a stomach virus since the wedding that can’t pass soon enough.
Nicole Lynn Photography will be closed July 3- 7 to celebrate the holiday and spend some time with family. Wishing you all a happy and safe July 4th holiday!

I’m happy to announce that Nicole Lynn Photography will be offering proofing/ordering sessions at Juice & Java in Mechanicsburg. The owners will also be displaying some of our photographic art for display as well. I’m so excited I can hardly contain myself. Not to mention, the drinks and food there are out of this world.

I have to admit, I rarely ever watch Oprah but yesterday I did and I was moved to tears. Oprah is on here at 4 pm EST, but Gabrielle gets off of the bus shortly before that and usually when Oprah is on we’re going through papers in her backpack, homework, then listening to her day at school. Shortly after I start dinner. Meanwhile, Tristan is usually tugging at me for attention. Hence you get the idea, not a good time to sit down and watch TV. The kids were napping yesterday (after spending a few hours in the pool) so I turned it on. The episode was a re-run but was new to me. The topic, death. I think its safe to say no one likes to talk about death but featured on Oprah were two guests who were dying but chose to spin death in a positive light. I met Chris Carr and Randy Pausch and listened to both intently. Both mentioned cancer but it wasn’t the focus. Both chose to talk about how cancer has changed their lives in ways they didn’t think possible. Each have motivated me to think differently about life in general. I’m blessed to have a wonderful husband who doesn’t mind me working crazy hours, two children who love me to the ends of the earth, my health, and a creative side of me that I’m fortunate enough to express through my clients and photography. Yeah, life is good.

Man these places are confusing me! I’ve spent the past week trying to find seniors on both of these sites and its been like a wild goose chase. Times like this I feel old and I know I’m no where near old. LOL! I can hope that seniors will be seeing fliers I sent to their schools with info on it so they can add me.

Nicole Lynn Photography will be closed Thursday May 22nd through Monday May 26th. I will be packing up my things and heading to Country Memories Day in McVeytown, PA for a craft fair on Saturday. I’ll have some of my artwork framed for viewing, some books, and special one day only pricing. Things start up bright and early at 8 am and end between 3-4 pm. The weather forecast looks good, sunny and warm. Stop by and say hi if you’re in the area.
I also did some minor upgrades to the website too that were long overdue. If you have time, take a look!
Have a safe and happy holiday weekend!
